It appears some anonymous deviant decided to bestow upon me a premium membership for a month! Thank you, anonymous person! But seriously though, PM me (or just reply here) so I know who you are. Otherwise how will I know where to send all the good karma, hmm?

Honestly I don't even know what you can do with one of these. Make polls? Request critiques? Someone tell me!

As to a more general update...well. Creatively I've been focused on just work-related texts, so nothing really new on that front, although I haven't quite been able to stop thinking about this year's NaNo. Which is good, because by golly we're going to edit it, and we're going to finish a draft 2, so help us! This has never happened before, so it will be...novel...to make it happen. Because we will. Totes. Totally.

Dammit, why is editing so hard?

That we will! If only because you've now told the internet that that is our intention, and therefore we will be obliged to follow through.

Polls! Cyberpunk themed polls! :paranoid:

Cyberpunk themed polls. :stare:

And yes, now that I've told the Internet this, the follow-through is inevitable. Isn't it?

i'm not a fan of editing, either (see my most recent deviation). it's the "work" part of having fun to me. boo! but it's necessary and there's no way around it.

Tell me about it. I guess the problem is that when it comes to literature, I'm still not sure what way I want to express myself. I mean, editing an article for publication is simple: clear, concise, structured, points in a logical order, no typos or words you don't know how to pronounce. Whereas prose...well, there's just a million ways of doing it "right" (and about as many doing it "wrong", and half the time they overlap...). Gah! ART!
