Well, that time of the year is again upon us! As exciting and (hopefully) as productive as FFM, it's National Novel Writing Month all of November! This means, for the uninitiated, that I am going to write a 50 000-word novel in the 30 days of November. I already know some of y'all are in, but anyone else want to step up and admit they're participating? Please feel free to add me as a buddy in that case (same username as here!).
As to my novel this year, I have both planned and not-really planned. I have some character names, and a rough plot, and an IDEA (involving alternate worlds!), but I have no clue if I can actually pull it off or not. It's based on the Empires of Time and Space shorts I wrote during FFM, but things will probably change quite a bit from that basic premise. Time will tell, very, very soon. On November 1 it all kicks off. So exciting!
Dude, this is my last year doing NaNo. Hopefully something comes out of it. So far so good. You?
So far so good indeed! Got my 10k breached, heading into the future. My character(s) are starting to do interesting things...yep. We'll see what comes out of it though!
Yaaay NaNoWriMo! Good luck, your IDEA sounds awesome! I am going to pretend I'm writing something a lot more fantastical than my thesis and do NaNo that way!
Good luck buddy! I plan to join as well, though I am completely blank on plot ideas
Good luck Wolfrug! I've been really excited for you to do Empires of Time for NaNo, I liked the shorts but the story clearly wanted to be a novel, and I'm pretty sure it's a novel I'd want to read!
